EEE endurance caculating equation

HI, 

In AN4306 and  AN4282, the RM provides EEE endurance caculating equation like below, I wonder what the "(2 X EEESIZE)" means? 

I already know that beacause of eee's round robin write mechanism,  "EFlash/EEESIZE * RecordEfficiency" means that writing all eee locations in so much times that EFLASH is fully erased once.
