Debugger for S32K566 (Cortex-M4/M7/R52) & S32 Debug Probe Support

Hello,

We are looking for a debugging tool for the NXP S32K566 microcontroller that can simultaneously handle all its cores: the Cortex-M4, Cortex-M7, and the Cortex-R52.

Could you please recommend any debug probes that meet this multi-core debugging requirement?

Specifically, we would like to confirm if the NXP S32 Debug Probe (S32-DP) fully supports simultaneous debugging for all cores on the S32K566.

Any information or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly, let me clarify that The S32K5 NPI (New Product Introduction) has not been officially launched yet.

Please be advised that customers who have been granted early access to such products have assigned their field engineers. Your designated field engineer should serve as your primary support channel for any issues, concerns or queries you may have about this product.

Our online support team will be opening a wider range of support for this product once it has been officially released. Until then, they will not be equipped to provide the desired assistance.

That said, the recommended debuggers for S32K devices are Lauterbach, PEmicro, SEGGER, S32DP, all of which support multicore debugging. However, because this is an NPI, official support has not yet been released.
