When I try to give periodical functional reset intentionally in the software, reset counter in DCM.DCMRWP1 register is not getting updated. Let us know the reason. Controller is S32k341.

I think there is a missundertanding, the register that counts the number of functional resets that have occurred is the MC_RGM -> FREC register.

Please find attached screenshot, I was referring to "Recovery mode reset counter" in DCM.DCMRWP1.
As the name implies, this is for recovery mode and will be accessible only in OEM_PROD and IN_FIELD LC stages, not in CUST_DEL.
