Hi,
I wish to control the core voltage (the voltage the powers the CPU and the SRAM memory) of a microcontroller directly using a bench-top power supply, rather than having the microcontroller generate it from the VDD voltage. Do any of the microcontrollers from NXP provide this feature? I have looked at several datasheets and could not find any.
Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated!

S32K1 does not offer mode with externally powered core voltage. This option you may find mostly on devices using external bypass transistor for generating of core voltage.
For example MPC5 devices are mostly connected this way:
