Team,

We have S32G RDB2 board. We want to setup

SGMII communication between PFE_MAC0 on the S32G controller and SJA1110 port 4.

SGMII communication between PFE_EMAC1 and AQR107 PHY on the RDB2 board

We use only 1 M7 core in S32G2 and bare metal configuration

From the S32G RDB2 reference manual, it looks like we have to configure the SerDes subsystem to support the SGMII usage. Also while debugging any application, I see the following register values of SerDes. It indicates only PCIe Mode.

I have  cofigured Serdes1 instance in SGMII mode on both lanes0 and 1.The expectation is that

PFE_EMAC0 shall be connected through the Serdes1,Lane0 to SJA1110 port 4 and and

PFE_EMAC1 shall be connected through to Serdes1,Lane1 to the AQR107 PHY.

But I see that both the above connections don't work for me. For PFE_EMAC0, i send transmit Ethernet Data but i don't receive anything in the SJA1110 switch, Similarly, for EMAC1, i don't see any communication with AQR107 PHY. Actually I don't see the link getting established when I connect the AQR107 PHY to the laptop with an ethernet cable.Don't see any LED's glowing when the AQR107 port is connected.

Attached the configurations of the Serdes and PFE_EMAC0/1.
