Hi NXP team,

Our custom board has Micron MT35XU512ABA1G12-0AUT Nor Flash for S32G399.

But the algorithm of this flash is not listed in the S32 Flash Tool, so we can't flash the binary to external flash.

What's the required steps we need to be able to use the micron NOR flash?

Thanks.

The difference between MT35XU512ABA1G12 and MT35XU02GCBA could be the die structure internal.

For 512Mb and 2G, the difference would be A/1 die per chip and C/4 die per chip.

So the address range for each device could be different and it may need to be modified

Hi @db16122 ,

Thanks for explaining.

We managed to make a new algorithm and added to the S32 flash tool/

hi,JalseyXie

Thank you for contacting us.

Generally, different models of Flash from the same manufacturer will use the same command words and the same register design.

You can try to use the MT35XU02GCBA.bin file.

In addition, you can refer to the document for the new Flash tool algorithm image.

Hi @Joey_z ,

Thanks for the reply. I did try the algorithm you mentioned, but it's not compatible with the Micron NOR flash.

I'll will check the document to make new algorithm.
