S32 Flash tool - QSPI/NOR Flash

Hi,

I am facing a issue in flashing the S32G-VNP-RDB2 board I am trying to boot it via QSPI/NOR Flash

Switch settings are done as per Default switch setting and changed the SW4 - 7th OFF

I am using S32 Flash tool to flash the board for M7 Core

I have initialized the settings with Select Target and algorithm - S32G2xxx
Destination - FLASH

Algorithm - MX25UW51245G

I have initiated the procees with
1.) COM Port selection -- Test Connection -- Board is connected (Success)

2.) Erase Memory Range -- 0x0 to 0x10000

3.) Upload Target and algorithm to hardware -- File algo is loaded

4.) Upload file to device - I have added the binary which is generated from IVT tool from S32DS (I am not sure this is the right to upload)

5.) Get Flash ID

Correct me if these steps are wrong, because the expected CAN line message is not coming but when i am running in Debug_RAM able to see the CAN messages 
so issue with flashing and respected binary is not working as expected so How can we check and verify

Thank for your post.

1. So you mean that the original elf running via the debugger could be used to send CAN frames, while the generated binary(maybe flashed to QSPI?) could not have the code running correctly as expected when powering on the board?

2. If so, while flashed powered on, I suggest firstly attach your debugger to the board to check where the code stuck.

3. And, this test is done by a demo or your custom application?

Thanks for the Reply!!

1.) I am currently using the custom application to send the CAN Frames which sends every 5 seconds once a CAN Message so that i verified that using S32G Debugger which is working fine as Expected. while i have generated binary using IVT tool which i flashed via S32 Flash tool which is not working as expected not able to see any logs and also not sure how to verify it.

2.) I dont think so issue with code because through debugger is working fine.
can you put down the procedure to bring up the Flashing setup for S32G-VNP-RDB2 Board i am not sure building the binary for S32G Board and flashing it via S32G 

3.)Since i have utilized Custom application i am fine with any example application which send the message via CAN_LLCE2 so as of now i experimented this if any example application run this i am fine or otherwise if any application that gives understanding of M7 core is flashed and some application is running to verify it.
can you suggest me a application that run as a example for verifying purpose

Thanks for your reply.

May be there are issues of your IVT settings and/or issues of the initialization part of your application.

The default CAN example is based on loopback mode, you may need to additionally modify the code to make it to send out CAN frames for the test.

I suggest directly sharing the steps/project settings for checking for the issue, if not convenient for sharing, we may create a support case for your convenience.
