Hello, i am having the following issues:
- Identify the MBD Toolbox and version for Matlab i need for the S32G3 Board i assumed the following: MBDToolbox_HCP_1.3.0_S32G_Win_Tools Is this correct?
- Trying to install on Mathworks i get the following error: Toolbox cannot be installed because it is not a valid toolbox file
- I went to mathworks and installed it here through apps which worked (Is this also possible?) - Activating the License this way i'm not sure how to proceed on the website there is no license available for the 1.3 version only for the 1.2 version: Model-Based Design Toolbox for HCP 1.2.0
Could someone assist in this matter? I am trying to debug a function and i'm in need of PIL testing through this pipeline. It is a urgent matter.
Hi Alejandro_e,
i have checked it out and because of the same reason i have these doubts,
the first ones i just wanted to verify because it was not specified if compatible with the G2 or G3 Board.
But for the license there is no license available for the 1.3.0 version. This is still unknown.
Thank you for your help in advance.
How would i get to the MBDT community or thread? I'm new to this community.
Hello @monchito911,
In general you can check the compatibility of any NXP software package in its respective release notes [page 2, Model-Based Design Toolbox for HCP, Release Notes, Version 1.3.0]:
For licensing topics please contact your FAE/NXP representative, he/she should be able to help you, you can also try creating a post in https://community.nxp.com/t5/Software-Licensing/bd-p/cw-licensing, just as you did in this community.
About posting in the MBDT community, please follow this link, and scroll down until you see the "Ask a question" button, then you can follow the same steps you followed to post in this community.:

Hello @monchito911,
Have you checked the provided documentation to install and run the Model-Based Design Toolbox for S32G chips?
Please check the following links:
Model-Based-Design-Toolbox Main page, for S32G chips support check HCP:
Where you can find the following:
NXP Model-Based Design Tools/HCP How to: in here you can see that the version you downloaded is in fact correct, and in the same page from which you downloaded the zip file you can find the documentation I mentioned before:
In this guide you will see how to install the MATLAB package and you will also see an example on how to debug a PIL target in section 2.3 A “Hello World” Example, page 26.
This being an urgent topic I recommend you posting your questions in the MBDT community as we can only support you with basic MBDT information in the S32G community.
