Hi
I am going to create an application project with s32g274A_Rev2 Cortex-A53 (lockstep mode). So, can Cortex-A53 be used in lock-step mode?
If not how can I use lockstep mode in S32G274A?
Hi,
On regards of the following question:
can Cortex-A53 be used in lock-step mode?
They can be used in lockstep mode, as shown under the S32G2 Reference Manual [Page 102, S32G2 Reference Manual, Rev. 8, February 2024]:
For more information on regards of lockstep mode, we can recommend looking into the S32G2 Reference Manual.
Please, let us know.
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. For the information being provided, it seems that you are trying to create an A53 project inside an IDE, possibly S32 Design Studio, is this correct?
Overall, we see that there is no documentation on this specific scenario, but we are able to create a project for A53, as shown below:
Aside from this, we are not seeing problems with the project generation.
Please, let us know.
Yes before add sdk has no error but after attaching sdk and use pintool for updating and then build give me error.
Could you please create a project for non Autosar based on this selection and tell me which SDK you are using?
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. Overall, we understand that there is no SDK/RTD for A53 core under the S32G product. That must be why you are seeing compilation problems when trying to use the RTD with the A53 core.
The scope of the RTD's is on regards of the M7 core. Even the examples provided are only related to the M7 core, not to the A53 core. We do apologize.
Please, let us know.
