I'm totally new for Embedded development. After I install S32 studio, In S32 kit debug part it says "This assumes that you have a debug probe(see release notes for supported debug probes) and a debug software installed on the machine."  Does this mean expect S32 studio i need to have antoer debug software so i can debug?

Hi Tianshu,
it means that usually you need a kind of external hardware (debug probe) to debug and program the microcontroller(s). Such a debug probe can be standalone (e.g. from SEGGER (J-Link) or P&E (Multilink)) or can be embedded on one of the many development boards supported.

I hope this helps,
Erich

Hi,

S32DS with clean installation is supporting PE Micro and Segger J-Link  debug probes. If you have - for example S32K144 evaluation board, debbug probe is part of this board (PE Micro OpenSDA).

What's your target MCU?
