I created a very simple S32K312 example, but it took a long time to build. I encountered the same problem when building projects for the S32K1xx series, and this happens in both S32DS 3.4 and S32DS 3.5. However, I don’t experience this issue on my other laptop. Also, here are some general recommendations for any working environment:
- Update Design Studio to the latest version (3.5.13)
- Close unnecessary background programs and services through Task Manager to free up system resources.
- If you encounter lag during the execution of old projects, delete old and unnecessary runtime files from the project, remove unnecessary dependency libraries, reduce project size, and accelerate compilation speed.
- Regularly restart the IDE to clear caches and release memory, thereby improving performance.
- Exclude the IDE software's folder or files in the settings of your antivirus software to reduce performance impact during scanning.
- Choose the "High Performance" or "Ultimate Performance" power mode to provide maximum performance during development.
