S32DS for ARM v2.2 installation issue

Due to various reasons, I am currently reinstalling S32DS for ARM v2.2. After double-clicking the exe installer, the installation interface does not pop up. Instead, only a folder named I1777285553 is extracted in the Temp folder. Inside I1777285553\Windows, there is an S32DS_arm_v2.2.exe. I tried double-clicking it, but it shows the error: "Failed to load Java VM: error 2". However, there is a java.exe under I1777285553\Windows\resource\jre\bin. I also tried running S32DS_arm_v2.2.exe from the command line and specifying the location of java.exe, but there is no response. What should I do in this situation? Do I need to re-download Java?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I just downloaded and installed S32DS for ARM v2.2 on a Windows 11 machine without problems, so we can discard issues with the installer. Can you try running the installer with administrator privileges? Also, please check if you see a txt file in C:\NXP\S32DS_ARM_v2.2\_S32 Design Studio for ARM Version 2.2_installation\Logs, if so, please share it in your next reply.
