S-record (S2 v S3)

Using S32DS for MPC5777C. Default /example project. In Properties>ToolSettings>CrossSettings I have Create flash image checked. Under create flash image>General I have Motorola S-rec selected. When I build I get the s-rec. But it is always S2. How can I get S3?
