Hello,

I am using NXP S32K3X4 with PE Micro Debugger (Multilink Universal) and while debugging I am getting the Runtime Error 216 at 0348A5D6 in S32Design Studio

any idea regarding this?

Try to put FS26 in Flashing Mode setting jumpers with unpowered device to disable FS26 resets.

Hi @V_ishal ,

Are you seeing this error only on your custom project?

Can you please create a blank "S32DS Application Project" and see if you get the same error?

Hi @V_ishal

Are you using custom boards? Or are these NXP boards?

What are the difference between the two boards?

Hi @juan_see

We are using NXP S32K344 boards with TJA1145A-EVB transceiver

Both boards are same

Hi @V_ishal

On the board that you are seeing the "Runtime Error", can you please do the following:

  1. Turn the switch off
  2. disconnect the 12 volts
  3. reconnect the 12 volts
  4. turn the switch on

Then try again and see if it resolves the issue?

This power-up procedure manage that SBC starts with the disabled watchdog. Four orange LEDs indicate active 12, 5, 3.3 and 1.5 V power supply domains.

Hi @juan_see

Tried these steps multiple time but still issue is not resolved.

It's not flashing/debugging on that particular board, I am attaching some stepwise snapshots kindly have a look at it

Hi @V_ishal ,

On the board that is failing, did the board ever worked before?

Did you program or enable the HSE firmware?

Hi @juan_see

yeah, we were flashing Bootloader, Boot Manger and Application on that board, it was working properly before, but suddenly stopped working.

I have not enabled the HSE firmware.

Hi V_ishal

I am also currently facing the same issue.

My board is also experiencing runtime errors 216 and is not reconnecting after disconnecting.

Therefore, I am currently testing other functions using a different board. The runtime error occurred while adding MCAL-Sbc_fs26.

I would like to know if the issue has been resolved.

Actually from backside of board there was external wire was there on evolution board that sholdering was broken (padding) that's why it was not able to communicate and throwing error
