Hi, I installed S32 Design studio for S32 platform v3.4. When I check the Peripheral tools, the list of peripheral appears to be empty. I tried installing the SDK etc. but it is still empty. What could be the reason and how can we solve it?

Any lead is appreciated. I am new to the IDE.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Which device are you working with? Did you install the device-specific Development Package? Did you use the S32DS Extensions and Updates menu to install the SDK? If you installed the standalone version of the SDK, then it will not work with S32DS. You must install the SDK through the S32DS Extensions and Updates menu for it to work with S32DS. Also, you must install the device-specific Development Package (also available through the S32DS Extensions and Updates tool) before you install the SDK.

You can locate the S32DS Extensions and Updates menu by Help -> S32DS Extensions and Updates from the pulldown menu.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hi Mike. Thank you for the response. I tried the method you suggested, but still the list is empty. I tried both online and offline methods as mentioned in this link: https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32-Design-Studio-Knowledge-Base/S32-Design-Studio-3-3-S32K1xx-dev-pack...

I tried uninstalling the S32Ds completely and then reinstalling as advised. Kindly advise if I am missing something.

I am attaching the screenshots.

Thank you!
