Peripheral Register View broken after update in S32DS for PPC, Linux Host

I just updated S32DS for PPC on Linux host through the inbuilt Eclipse update method.  I can no longer see the peripher registers.  I'm pretty sure that I used to access it through the "EmbSysRegView 2.0" tab (rather than the "Modules" tab).  Opening the "EmbSysRegView 2.0" tab gives this message:

"Error loading registers data. SVD(XSD) file corrupted or missing"

I can however still view registers referenced in my code by hovering the mouse over the register name in the code.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Shaun

Hi Martin,

I am using Ubuntu 12.04LTS 64 bit.  I haven't updated for a few months so it may have been a previous update to S32DS PPC v1.1 that's the cuprit.

No I haven't re-installed.  I do have a another linux machine with S23DS PPC v1.1 on it, that I haven't updated, so if I knew where to look for this "corrupted or missing" file I might be able to copy it across.

Thanks, Shaun

Hello,

could you please tell me which Linux distribution you use? I would like to test in on my side.

Did you try to reinstall Design Studio? It looks like some error during installation or update file error.

Regards,

Martin
