EmbSys Register View

On using a generated code from the Simulink Matlab model, then opening the model on S32 to access the EmbSys Register view and debug the content of the register I find the EmbSys window empty and doesn't show any register. 

I will attach the steps from the beginning where I open the project to the debugging session (Numbered ascendingly)

Hi, 

instead of opening project from filesystem - you can try to import it into S32DS:
File -> Import

I have tried so, but it didn't work too. 

I am generating the file from Matlab, could it be that the (.project) file is not generated from Matlab?

Notice in the attached file the properties of my project (opened in the way you have mentioned) vs. an existing s32 example project 

My project doesn't have the embdsys property settings
