DO-178B Compliance

Hello,

Are S32 design studio and S32 SDK qualified to be used for SW development as per DO-178B level A standard? Or is there a way to achieve the compliance?

S32 SDK and S32 DS is not qualified for developing aircraft systems of any level.

We have decided to go with MPC57xx MCU for our airborne application. Do-178B level A compliance required. Could you please suggest a suitable IDE/Compiler?

Hi, 

In my previous job (aerospace industry) we used WindRiver tools https://www.windriver.com/products/development-tools/ .  

To be honest - Developing software under DO-178B Level A (with catastrophic impact if SW fails) is pretty complex task and looking for suitable toolchain on internet forum is quite unusual. Normally companies already have established full developing process of such software.
