I had a query on xgate memory protection and tried to ask a technical support from freescale. from what i understood from the reply i got, there seem to be no way of determining the details of the errors (address of error, cause...) when the xgate causes an access violation interrupt.
i am designing a function that checks for faults inside the system and i need to know the details of the errors i receive. this details are used for diagnostics.
is this how s12x is designed? can somebody explain?
