two  9S12 questions

first question I have is  :
Is there a MCU that has the same pinout as the MC9S12DP512 but without the 512  perhaps 32k or 64k  the pinout has to be the same though.

Next question is on the software side.  Is there a comparitor on the 9S12 chips to invoke an interupt on the compared differences while reading from peripherals  such as  an analog acceleromter ?

Thanks

The S12Dx was designed as a family with flash sizes 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512. Check with your supplier to see the availability of these.
In terms of pinout it depends what you mean. The general pinout is the same across the family but the smaller the flash size then the fewer the on-chip peripherals as well so for example the 64k part does not have 5 CAN modules.
Decide which peripherals you need for your application then check the availability of these on the selector guides.

Speaking about selection guides, could you shed some light on what happened to non-automotive SG1006.pdf? I can't find recent version of it, only Q1.

Hello and Welcome,

I don't think you will be able to find a pin to pin replacement.
If it exists, you should look at the MC9S12D64 or MC9S12DG128.
There is a D32, but it seems to be based on the MC9S12D64.

For question 2, I would use the ADC module.
On some MCUs you have the possibility to wake up on comparison of a value.

I hope this help,
Alban.
