Hello! Is S12ZVM32 GDU external bootstrap diode not needed? If so, how to connect the VBSx and VLSx pins?

as per the S12ZVM device guide, the diode is required in case the device has GDU V4 or V6. The GDUV5 module has on chip bootstrap diode. Refer to Table 1-3. S12ZVM Module Version in the S12ZVM reference manual Rev2.5
