Optical transceiver and NE64

Hello,

has anybody connected an optical ethernet transceiver to a NE64?
I plan to use an Avago AFDR5903Z but the datasheet only shows a connection to LVPECL devices and is quite different from the Freescale schematics with standard transformer.

Any help welcome!

Although the physical connection can be established with the adequate pull-up/pull-down arrays, it absolutely impossible to make it work because the MLT-3 encoding cannot be bypassed!
Freescale has forgotten this very subtle detail that would enable the NE to talk through optical.

I shall add an external TX/FX transcoder in my equipment.
