Issue with SCI interface with LIN

I am using sci peripheral in mc9s12gN16 20 pin package for interfacing with LIN peripheral.I am not getting Rx interrupt atleast even Errors(like frame,overflow) also.Kindly provide the value of initialization registers  and let me know if there are any issues u faced with SCI interfacing with LIN.

Hi vamsi,

The basic requirement is that LIN transceiver must be enabled. Therefore you need provide 12V power supply to LIN transceiver.

If you use TWR-S12GN32 board:

1.    please connect 12V to E1, E2 connector

2.    route RXD0 and TXD0 signals to LIN transceiver – jumpers 1-3 and 2-4 at JP1

3.    if your node will be LIN master, please connect jumper 3-4 at JP3

4.    if you want provide 12V power to next node over LIN cable, please connect jumper 1-2 at JP3.
