What is the cheapest evaluation board with built in BDM (with either RS232 or USB pc interface) avaiable and where can you buy it.

I give up.
But I got a free hs12 dev board from Future electronics that
can be used as a pod. What I would really like is a cheap
compilier. Smile

Metrowerks copiler is free up to 8k of code (or somewhere thereabout) - you just need to register

To say the truth Metrowerks CodeWarrior for HC(S)12 Special Edition is 12KB code-size limited, it just requires to register in Metrowerks' web site.

I have had great results with the P&E Multilink USB pod for the HCS12 devices. And - the same tool works with the HCS08 family as well.

You could always check out the POD from Technological Arts.

They also have great evaluation boards.

Although, I still recommend the Noral Flex Debugger... I wouldn't trade it in for anything!
