Hi Sir:

We are a third-party programmer manufacturer and our customers have programming problems
MC9S12XEP100CAG needs to be programmed with address 0x12000~0x13FFF
Is this block an EEPROM? Can it be programmed?

Is there a programming process for this block that I can refer to? Is it the same as the DFlash block? The only difference is the address? Do I need to set another register?

Thanks

Hi @gary_yang,

There is just an emulated EEPROM, the NVM must be partitioned for the Emulated EEPROM first.

Please refer to AN3490 Overview of the MC9S12XE Emulated EEPROM

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN3490.pdf

Here you can find some examples and the S12XE memory map:

Daniel
