when I disable the interrupts (using Quickstart API macro "archDisableInt"), the COP is disabled as well or the COP is not influenced by the ICTRL register (so I need to disable it manually if I want)?
I'm not familiar with 56F devices, but by analogy with other devices, it should be not possible to disable COP, once it is enabled, and of course disabling interrupts should not have influence on COP operation.
