Hi
I just unboxed a rapid IOT kit. I am trying to connect it to my android application in the phone using NXP Rapid IOT app. But when I try to add the device, it is not showing up the Rapid IOT's Bluetooth signal.
I am using Samsungs s8 model.
I also tried resetting both the rapid IOT and my phone. Still, it was not getting connected.
Rapid IOT Toolkit version b167 acb, branch release 1.1.6
Android version 8
Any leads would be highly helpful.

Niranjan
I originally had some bluetooth issues with the RAPID-IOT-1.1.4.apk version from the NXP link: https://www.nxp.com/downloads/en/software/RAPID-IOT.zip.
The Google Play store has a newer one (1.1.8) that works on my s8.
I also tried it on my Note 5, Note 3, and Essential ph1.
Can someone update the nxp link so Play store doesn't have to used?
Thanks,
Ed
Hi, I have downloaded the version rapid IOT version 1.1.8 from Play Store in my android S8.
But still, I am not able to establish my connection.
Rapid IOT > settings > Bluetooth > On.
Is there anywhere else where I should make changes?
Not able to understand where I am going wrong.
Thanks
Niranjan
If you've downloaded the 1.1.8 app from the Google Play store, delete it and try using the 1.1.4 app that Ed has linked to above. If that works, I know what your issue is. If not, we can try some other things.
HI,
Thanks for the update. I had to implement an example which has Bluetooth as a component in it. Then it started working.
