Can someone share the procedure to create a flex-builder based image for the LS1043A DCM (Dual Chip Module board)?

The procedure outlined in the DCM user manual does not use flex-builder and only shows you how to generate a Linux kernel, so it is somewhat restrictive.

Thanks in advance.

Usually u-boot provides board initialization (DDR, Flash). Look at the following pages about u-boot porting:

See also the following pages:

I think NxP LSDK supports LS1043A-RDB. Is this LS1043A-DCM also purchased from NxP ?

Yes, this is an evaluation board from NXP containing the LS1043 and MPC5748G.
