Telephony ports: 2 FXO + 6 FXS

Should be implemented Echo Cancellation and popular codecs.

I'm wondering if LS1024 is ok for this purpose.

FXO and FXS are implemented using external trird-party SLIC chips, connected to processor TDM bus. So, from the processor point of view, you need only TDM bus. TDM bus supports up to 16 channels. Our our LS1024A-based "LS1024A-RDB" board we use dual-SLIC chip ZL88601.

Below is our application engineering team response regarding LS1024A:

LS1024A has a standard TDM bus, and software configuration is to support up to 16 channels, so 2 FXO + 6FXS = 8 channels is OK for LS1024A.

Have a great day,

One more question: Does General purpose software stack QORIQ-LS1024A-SDK include TDM/SLIC kernel drives? I'm trying to compare LS1024A-SW-ASK and General purpose software stack in terms of VoIP functionality and price.

General purpose software stack for LS1024A does not include PFE fast-forward and VoIP support.

If you want to use VoIP features, ASK (BHR release) is the only choice.
