T1024 GPIO3_24 pull down?

Hi,

in the T1024 datasheet rev.1 at Table 1 the  GPIO3_24/EC2_RX_DV when configured as GPIO is adviced to be tied to GND with a pull down (see note 14):

14. This pin requires an external 1-kΩ pull-down resistor to prevent PHY from seeing a valid Transmit Enable before it is actively driven.

This requirement seems strange as it cannot be configured as Trasmit Enable.

Is it an error?

You are right.

The note has to be attributed to AD8 - not AF8.
