Bare board, with the MCF54415 selected. When I try and install PE components, specifically any of the PIT free counters, it allows me to set it ups, and then tells me: ERROR: This component is not implemented in this version yet!
I have seen this with a couple of components. Does anyone know what PE components work and don't work? Seems silly that it will let me add and configure the component, only to then tell me it doesn't exist. I'm trying to figure out which chip to use for a project, and I like the chip, but I don't want to pick something that isn't actually supported.
Hello
We are sorry but MCF5441x derivatives support only Peripheral Initiliazation components. Unfortunatelly, it is possible see high level components for MCF5441x in components library, but this is not correct. Classical high level components weren't supported for MCF5441x, because it was deciced that the new Logical Device Driver (LDD) components with more possibilities (especially regarding RTOS support) shall be supported there instead.
There is a plan to support a LDD components for ColdFire families.
