Hi, i have a binary file that runs on MC68336 which i need to disassemble. Most of the tools that work for MC68K dont recognize MC68336 code. Can i get some recommendation to what tools use for MC68336, or what are the differences between this two CPUs?

Hi @Bartek0x00

The MC68336 is part of the Motorola 68300 family of microcontrollers, which are derived from the Motorola 68000 series but include additional features and peripherals tailored for embedded applications. While the core of the MC68336 is based on the 68000 architecture, there are differences in integrated peripherals and some additional instructions specific to the 68300 family.

The current version for 68k is the CodeWarrior for 68k V3.2.

Hope this will help you.
