Trouble with PT2001

dear community,

I have taken the sample code in PT2001 Developer Studio and then uploaded it to PT2001EVB via SPI GEN software. It seems that all files are successfully uploaded. But when I connect 12 V Powersupply and give HIGH signal to STARTx pin via "Batch Command", I cannot set any current at injector output at all.

I read through the old posts and found a similar problem with PT2000. But there the suggested solution was to replace the IC on the board as it is an older version. But I bought the PT2001 board recently, so I almost assume that the IC is also the new version. Besides, yes I can't replace such an IC personally, that needs the appropriate machines.

Please help me, because I have to give this project in a short time.

Thanks in advance

Dear Younes,

which MCU board are you using with the PT2001 EVB? I presume you are using the FRDM-KL25Z board? In the kit should be included also the S32K144EVB-Q100, which can be used with S32 Design Studio IDE. Please refer to the section 7 in KTFRDMPT2001EVMUG attached. Please consider to use the PT2001 with the S32K1 MCU. There is an sample project for the S32K144 and PT2001.

The latest S32DS version can be downloaded from this link: https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/s32-design-studio-ide:S32-DESIGN-STUDIO-IDE

Please take a picture of the top of the PT2001 chip so we can check the date of production of the PT2001. The third line should define the year and week of production.

With Best Regards,

Jozef

I have now tried to build the example project in the S32-DS environment. For this I tried it with S32-DS Platform 3.4 and S32-DS ARM V 2.2 with many compiler errors. Therefore I tried it with S32DS.ARM.2018 R.1 environment and I still get these following 2 errors and can't fix them.

Furthermore as requested I am sending a picture of the PT2001 chip so that the manufacturing date can be seen.

Is there any other current example project, that fits to the new version of S32 DS?

Best Regards,

Younes
