GD3160 AOUT / MISO Rise and Fall Time Not Specified in Datasheet - Needed for Signal Integrity

Hello,

The GD3160 datasheet does not contain any rise or fall time information for the AOUT and MISO low voltage domain signal pins.

In addition, the AOUT and MISO signals are not implemented in the SPICE model, which would have been great.

This information is needed in order to assess transmission line signal integrity of these signals, whether termination is required, and if cross-talk between AOUT/MISO to SCLK, and PWM signals is a cause of concern.

As GD3160 is ASIL D capable, not having this information in the datasheet is a material oversight.

Strongly recommend that rise and fall time information be added to the datasheet as well as the driver output impedance. A SPICE driver model would also be welcomed.

Hoping to obtain this information as soon as possible. Help on this topic is appreciated!

Sincerely,

Mika

David,

Thank you for your response.

I believe you are mistaken. You can find an LT Spice model for GD3160 on the product page.

Regardless of a SPICE model, I need the rise and fall times for AOUT and MISO. They are not specified in the datasheet.

The NDA number is 83094. I just checked it and noticed that it expires on Feb 19, 2023. Who should I contact to get it renewed?

Best Regards,

Mika

Hello Mika,

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

Unfortunately, we currently do not have SPICE models or any other kind of simulation models for the GD3100/GD3160 devices.

Could you please provide your NDA number?

Regards,

David
