This is referenced in the LTIB Quick Start: Targeting the MPC8548E CDS System, Document Number: AN3094.

I am interested in the UBoot and Linux source, and tool chain for the MPC8548E.

Yes, I did; however I am trying to install on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit and am having difficulties.  I have followed various processes e.g. (https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-1442 )  without success.  I am going to try one I found for patching LTIB for the IMX.

Would you happen to know of a process for getting LTIB working on my configuration?

LTIB is quite old software and initially it was designed to run on redhat-type systems.

It is also possible to run LTIB on ealier versions of Ubuntu with just a minor additional packages installed.

But starting from Ubuntu 12.04, LTIB does not work on Ubuntu without special patch.

Sorry, MPC8548E-CDS BSP is quite old (more than 10 years old), and we offer it "as is".

I do not see where "MPC8360E26_20081112-LTIB.iso" is mentioned in AN3094.pdf, I assume this is a typo, because MPC8360 BSP is not applicable to MPC8548E CDS board.
