Hi guys,

I need to make an apllication in c# or c++ to communicate with

an MPC8260 with HDLC protocol via serial port .

Do I need any API from NXP ?

Do you have any example?

Do you you mean a bare metal application running on MPC8260 based board? There was Netcomm api by Freescale in C for such applications. I do not see any link to it on the nxp site. However you can create technical case with request for it (see How I could create a Service Request?). I also attached simple example of using the SSC as HDLC controller. It contains useful header file which describes Internal Memory Maps for the MPC8260 as C structure.

I have a computer with windows 10 iot entreprise that must communicate with a MPC8260 board using HDLC serial protocol.As HDLC protocol use to be vendor specific i need to know if there is any api ,lib or header from NXP to develop my windows app

Sorry, I did not  see any api, lib or header from NXP to develop windows app for windows  OS10 iot entreprise computer.
