Hello,
Can anyone from NXP tell me what the production status of PCA9450AA is? I am developing a product that uses the 8M Mini application processor, and I was interested in using PCA9450AA as a PMIC for it. However, it doesn't look like this part is in stock at any distributors, so to buy any you need to order a whole reel with a lead time of 52 weeks. However, the other variants of PCA9450, PCA9450B and PCA9450C, are both stocked at digikey. Is there any plan to make the PCA9450AA available at lower minimum quantities?
Also, it looks like PCA9450A might also work as a PMIC for the 8M Mini. Does anyone know what the difference is between the PCA9450A and PCA9450AA?
Thanks

HI
PCA9450AA can fully replace with PCA9450A.
For PCA9450AA supply channel/lead time ,please contact with local NXP distributors.
Hi,
I see the lead time of the PCA9450B is similar to the PCA9450A/PCA9450AA. From the technical point of view, what is needed that the i.MX8M Mini is working with the PCA9450B?
Best Regards,
Patrick

Hi guoweisun,
The lead time of the PCA9450A seems the be also around 52 weeks.
We are using the i.MX8M Mini without the GPU similar to the i.MX8M Nano. Is it possible to somehow use the PCA9450B instead of the PCA9450AA? What changes must be done on BSP side to configure the PCA9450B correctly for the i.MX8M Mini.
Best Regards,
Patrick
