MRF101AN could be used at low drain voltage, but, performance will be worse. My estimation is P1dB reduction by 7.7 times and gain -8dB (at 27MHz): 16Watt, 17dB.
NXP offers devices designed for 12V operation. I recommend AFT05MP075N or AFT05MS031N. AFT05MP075N provides 75W, 35dB, 70% efficiency in NXP 88-108MHz design at 12.5V.
