Hi -
I am using a P1020 with the local bus configured with SETA = 1 for CS4.
The manual says for sure that if SETA = 1, ONLY LGTA can terminate a transaction; internal TA is completely ignored.
So, does that mean that External TA is exempt from bus monitor?
Solved! Go to Solution.
When SETA =1 then an access is terminated either by LGTA assertion or by
the bus monitor whatever happens earlier.
When SETA =1 then an access is terminated either by LGTA assertion or by
the bus monitor whatever happens earlier.
In case if internal TA generation is disabled by SETA, local bus GPCM controller will wait for external TA (LGTA) assertion.
If there is no external TA assertion within reasonable time, bus monitor will terminate this transaction and generate TEA ("transfer error acknowledge").
