Hi,
Could I boot the P1022 with 32 bit address space at the LB with 16 bit nor flash ?
The 32 bit address is mandatory.
If boot from 16 bit nor flash not working, do I need 32 bit Nor flash for boot?
Regards
Zeev Gerber
P1022 supports booting from 16-bit NOR Flash ROM (24-bit and 28-bit addressing).
After initial booting the eLBC data bus width could be reconfigured by setting the PMUXCR[eLBC_DIU]=00.
Hi,
What about working with 32 bit addressing (GPCM 32 bit) with a30 connect to the lsb address of the flash.
do I need 2 units of 16 bit nor Flash?
Pls. advise
> do I need 2 units of 16 bit nor Flash?
If the system is intended to work with 32-bit NOR Flash, then it is reasonable to boot from 32-bit NOR Flash.
In this case the answer to the question is "yes".
Hi,
my question is:
If the boot room location is 1111 (GPCM 32 bit) do I need 2 units of 16 bit nor Flash or that I have more options?
I want to work with 32 bit address in the eLBC, without any reconfiguration.
Pls. advise

Yes.
Hi,
So, if I use 2 units of 16 bits for 32 bit data bus, I need to connect A29 Addr bit from CPU to the Flash lsb Addr?
Pls. approve
Correct.
