P4080 Event Processing Unit (EPU) supports monitoring of CoreNet L3 Cache CPC Events and of DDR transactions Received from CoreNet and CPC.
The fuctionality is described in separate documents for advanced QorIQ Debug and Performance Monitoring. Support is limited to 3rd Party Tool vendors and you need to contact a Freescale representative (or create a Service Request) to get access to this documents.
Customers (not tool developers) wishing to use this debug feature set are enabled via CodeWarrior and 3rd party tools. CodeWarrior provides Performance analysis tool. It allows user to select events and counters for analysis. Please refer to CW documentation : "Tracing and Analysis Tools User Guide".
A customer can use QorIQ Debug feature set without CW or third party tools by using SPID Library API. Customer should contact FSL to engage in a service contract to be enabled with SPID Library.
