I have a customer using the p5020 with Linux and at boot-time he's receiving the following error message:

Qman ErrInt: Corenet Initiator Data Error

Can anyone provide some background as to what this means and what might be causing it?

Thanks in advance,

Chris B.

Hi Sir,

I have also the same problem with P4080DS. Did you resolve the problem?

Haven't seem this kind of error on p5020 board with default settings.

Please clarify what board jumper settings and kernel configurations you're using so that reproduce it.

The error message indicates that bit 2 of "QMan error interrupt status register" asserted (CIDE). This interrupt is asserted if a beat of read with an error indication asserted is received by QMan as an initiator. Transactions initiated by either the QMan or BMan cause this bit to assert. Because QMan provides the initiator interface for both the QMan and BMan, the QMan reports this error on behalf of both, and the BMan does not report this error.
