i2c read Error getting data: Connection timed out

Hii team,

We are using an i.MX8QM processor. We are using an i2C slave and reading some values using it. Sometimes we will encounter an issue like 'Error receiving data: connection timed out'.

After capturing the i2c read with the Logic analyzer, we understood that the master was sending 0 bit for reading. So we are experiencing a timeout issue.

Do you have any understanding of this? I would appreciate it if you could suggest a solution for this.

Which i2c are you using? Can you capture signals as close to the soc as possible?

This issue got solved. Some timing synchronization issue was there in i2c slave.
