Hi

This writing can be awkward because it uses a translator.

I made a product based on MX8M.

The board was made by referring to Variscite's products.

The product is MX8M EVK.

MX8M specification is as follows.

CPU : 1.5GHz Dual/Quad Cortex™-A53 NXP i.MX8M

Dimensions : Only 55 x 30 mm

Certified WiFi/BT : 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n + BT 4.2/BLE

Multimedia : 4K UltraHD decode and display, HQ audio, HD GPU

Temperature range : -40 to 85°C

Product Longevity: 2033

Pin2pin Family : VAR-SOM pin2pin family: Compatible with DART-MX8M-MINI, DART-MX8M-NANO

There is an SD card or eMMC method for booting.

There is a phenomenon of booting and stopping in the middle.

I'm going to upload the normal boot log and the abnormal boot log.

Please answer me if you have any symptoms similar to mine.

Thank you for letting me know the boot order of the MX8M.

in my mind removed the unused parts when I made them, and there seems to be something about booting.

emmc.txt is the abnormal boot and emmc_fin is the normal boot log

Thank you

Hello,

This behavior seems odd, I see ptn5150 1-003d: failed to clear interrupt status:-6 in the log you shared.

This seems to be the cause of it, I see by the log you shared that you are using uboot and kernel form variscite, please try to look if they have seen this behavior in their board and/or kernel

Hope this helps,

Best regards,

Aldo.

Hello,

Does the board reset after the failure?

Also, what are the "unused parts" you removed?

Thank you,

Regards,

Aldo.
