The TJA1153 supports 500Kb according to the datasheet

Is there a secure CAN Transceiver that supports 1Mb? If not, Is there a roadmap for pin compatible device that is a secure CAN transceiver up to 1Mb?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

We are looking into the secured transceivers. However, per 1153 datasheet seems that can support arbitration rate of up to 500 Kbps and not 1 Mbps

• Operates in Classical CAN and CAN FD systems with arbitration phase bit rate set at
125 kbit/s, 250 kbit/s or 500 kbit/s

(also per CAN_CANFD_BR settings)

In NXP roadmap - is there intension to support 1 Mbps of arbitration rate?

• For arbitration bit rates of 250 kbit/s and 500 kbit/s, the fast phase bit rate can be set to
two or four times the arbitration bit rate

I apologize, I misunderstood you. Unfortunately no. We do not have a CAN transceiver with Arbitration rate of 1Mbit/s and there is not any planned. I apologize for inconvenience.
