Hello,
I builded a SMPS based on the TEA1916 combo and following the example TEA1916DB1262UL.
The current output limit is set accordingly (based on TEA1916 power limit) to 140W and is working as expected.
The output voltage is set to 16V.
The LLC transformer is getting hot (80 degree celsius) when the load is 50W. Everything else (mosfets and bridged diodes) seems ok.
Please, may I know which parameters may I change in order to reduce the transformer temperature?
Additionally, It's this temperature expected without force ventilation?
Thanks
Hi Sun,
The transformer temperature rise in full load is ~95C after 20 minutes.
I just modified the transformer and get better results.
Thanks
Hi
Could you please let us your product safety standard level?
What's your transformer temperature rise in full load?
