Secure Boot and Flash read-out protection

Hi all,

I'm designing a product that will have a USB boot-loader.

I would like to choose a micro-controller that supports secure-boot as well as an ability to completely lock down the micro-controller such that no flash can be read from it. I understand this to be read out protection. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

What's the best way to sort NXP's micro-controller offerings based on the criteria above?

If anyone has recommendations for micros, that would be greatly appreciated.

For your application scenario, I recommend you to use the MIMXRT series, which provides a variety of secure boot mode, such as HAB and BEE.

In addition, after development is completed, the user can block external SWD/JTAG access by programming eFuse, effectively containing confidential code.

BTW, currently all NXP and security-related documents require the customer to sign the NDA to obtain them. The specific operation needs to contact TSR on the official website.
