We are using PCF2127. Several PCBs have the same problem. During communication over I2C the IC reports a NAK after some write request. This happens after a several read / write operations but every time at the same point.
IC has this issue only at the first start. When I disconnect the battery from the IC and plug it back in (do a full reset), the device works fine until the next power cycle.
Can I reset the IC over I2C command without disconnecting the battery?
