The range I aim for is up to 2 meters with one PCA9507. I have a few questions regarding the setup and would appreciate any guidance:

1. Where should I place the PCA9507 in this setup? Should it be closer to the slave (ADT7422) or the master device?
2. Where should the pull-up resistors be placed in this configuration?
3. What should be the value of these pull-up resistors?

Hello Asher,

The PCA9507 is a pretty old (~15 years) 2-wire serial bus extender with limited support from our application team. I would recommend you to take a closer look at chapter 7 of the datasheet, which provides useful design-in information.
