NTP5332 writing problem via iOS

I am having issues with reading from and writing to the NTP5332 using iOS. Everything works correctly on Android.
Below is a screenshot of the tag memory.

On iOS, the following error is displayed.

I also tried formatting the tag to NDEF using an Android device, but this did not resolve the issue.

All operations were performed using the NXP TagWriter and NXP TagInfo applications.

Hope you are doing well.

Could you please provide more details on your setup? What iOS device and iOS version are you using?

Just to confirm, are you using one of our NTAG 5 Development Boards, or is it a custom board based on NTP5332?

Also, what is the version of TagWriter you are using (both in iOS and Android)?

Yes, I am using the  NTAG 5 Development Boards.
I tested with iPhone 7 (iOS 15.8.3) and iPhone 16 Pro Max (iOS 18.5).
The application version on iOS is 2.1.0, while on Android it is 6.2.0.

Hi,

Android version of TagWriter configures the Capability Container for a larger NDEF, while the iOS version considers a Capability Container similar to the default one (refer to NTAG 5 link Data Sheet, Table 7).

Please, try writing the default CC (Block Address 00h / 0000h) to the NTAG 5, either by the I2C interface or the NFC interface, and then try reading with the iOS device.

This worked.

I was able to read the tag using an iPhone.
However, when I tried to write data back from the iPhone, this error was shown.

After that, when I read the memory again using Android, it showed this content.
In summary.

Now it is possible to write data, but it does not write successfully every time and this error keeps appearing repeatedly.Also, after rewriting the tag using an iPhone, it is no longer possible to read it again; it shows the same error: “no NDEF messages found”.
